Collection: Morse Code "OK"

Morse Code OK Collection – sailing apparel featuring Morse code embroidery by Boat Master

Morse Code was invented in the 1830s by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail as a way to transmit messages over telegraph wires.

It encodes letters and numbers into sequences of short and long signals - dots and dashes - that can be sent by sound, light, or radio.

Each character has a unique pattern, with “E” being the simplest (just one dot).

Sailor’s note: The famous distress signal “SOS” (· · · – – – · · ·) doesn’t actually mean “Save Our Souls” or “Save Our Ship.” It was chosen purely for its clarity and ease of recognition.

Boat Master turns maritime symbols into true nautical designs. See all collections
